    As someone who works at one of the UPMC facilities where you are forced to join the union (wpic), unionization isn't worth it. We get paid less than staff doing the same job across the street ($1-$5 less an hour) and then we have to pay part of what we do make to S.E.I.U. And if you need help union representatives are impossible to get a hold of. S.E.I.U. wants everyone to think they are helping employees, but their help means less pay and support. They also make it impossible to fire employees that don't do their jobs. If these people think S.E.I.U. is going to help them, they are sadly misguided. They will make even less money and have more stress.
