I personally am a member of Unite Here Local #57 which represents the hospitality and casinos in Pittsburgh. I support the Rivers joining our team! I have great pay, benefits, seniority, PTO and many other benefits.
I stand behind a strong leadership that the people have elected. Yes they make a living but are not rich or overpaid.
Just curious,what do you think you will lose joining the union? I am a proud Unite Here Local 57 member... I have rights as a union member, good pay, wonderful health insurance!!! People have fought long and hard for our contract!!! Unionizing the casino would make a big difference for the better!!!
