Re: “

My fiance and I had dinner at the Georgetown Inn on Valentines day. We were lucky enough to get a window seat, although I think the view is good from any of the tables. The french onion soup was delicious, as was our entrees that we ordered off the special menu. Shrimp and Scallops for me and Steak for him. Everything including the service was great. The prices were very reasonable for the area. I could pay more in Monroeville for a comparable meal and wouldn't have the ambiance. Yes it does need updated but it doesn't take away from the view and great food. We are planning a trip back to the Georgetown Inn for my birthday in November. If you do go, take the time to complete the experience by riding the incline up. It is worth the extra time.
