Another example of idiots who know nothing about cooking hoping than unsuspecting Americans wont either (unfortunately they are right most of the time) what on earth does Japanese cuisine and Thai have to do with each other? They are thousands of miles apart (but Americans don’t know that) I think I will open an Cuban/German restaurant…Sound good?

Great news, we don't have nearly enough abortions or unwanted dumpster babies. Any company that wants to prevent their employees from making a choice is just perfect. Or are they just really trying to get out of paying for anything?

To envision a version of Philadelphia's Reading Terminal Market or Cleveland's West Side Market (or even better, The St Lawrence Market in Toronto) is ridiculous, the entire Strip district is a version of those markets, and even though Pittsburgh tries its best, “The Strip” really doesn’t compare to any of them. The Public market has potential, but the few vendors that are there in general charge such exorbitant prices that most of the folks I know went once and did not return. Sure local chefs from trendy restaurants can say how much they like it as they pass the prices right on to the customers. But the average “home Chef” (OK cook) is not always in a position or inclination to serve up a $25.00 per person meal ($50.00+ at a restaurant) Now if the City closed off Penn and covered and heated it we would be heading in the right direction, but having a market within a market is a concept that just wont work…JMHO

That style of plate art was trendy in the late 90s early 2000's. I think today most people want food on their plate not gallery fodder?

There is no need to encourage them with their own menu. Take them to Eat n Park then drop them off with the sitter. They usually cannot appreciate an upscale restaurant plus they often get bored and fussy. Why ruin the experience for everyone around you. If you can’t afford the sitter….Stay home and wait for them to grow up.
