It would appear that the gleaming brass ring of reparation relative to nondisclosure is the culprit here. Take away that feature, remove the veil of secrecy that such agreements bring to the table and this would have an abrupt end. How can anyone of any ethical conviction propose such a solution to begin with. We're wrong, we're really sorry, now take this money and be quiet? That IS the offense in this piece.
