    Re: “Gerontocracy
civic duty to the modern american is begrudgingly ensuring they have not overpaid in taxes. i'd rather see extreme disincentives for not voting, such as, 100 hours of community service combating recidivism of the incarcerated or ensuring the least of our youngsters can read and write.

voting is absolutely not a right, it can be legislated away from you.

    All County Peoples:

Should we eliminate County Division of Weights and Measures and have the State Supervisor take over the task, as they already do for every other County in Western Pennsylvania except Allegheny, Beaver, Greene and Westmoreland?

    For All Candidates:

Should the City or County actively attract private and public entities supporting the natural gas industry to redevelop vacant brownfield sites around the city and the county which would create jobs and bring tax revenues to the urban core?

All County Chief Exec Candidates: Do you support the presence of over 20 twitter feeds representing various County Divisions and Departments, for example, @AC_DCR Dept. of Court Records!?

Would there be opportunity to split the baby: local news and NPR goes to 91.3 and jazz remains on 90.5 along with the old WAMO-FM folks - a jazz, R&B, HipHop station seems viable?

Roddy seems a bit of a misfit. I see great things - or, him fired faster than B.J. Leber.

Either way, he'll have a nice book out of it.

I don't like it. I recall the "merger" between the 105.9 "the X" and 104.7 "The Revolution" some years back. Haven't listened to either of them since.

Now we have a somewhat similar instance of a station purchasing its competition: Don't take away my "Rhythm Sweet and Hawt!"
