I loved this week's column. As much as it still hurts to hear of small minded students, teachers, parents, etc. it reminds us that for as far as we have come we still have a way to go. Dans response to TALI gave me goosebumps and brought me near to tears. I had no one to tell me those things when I was in her shoes 20 years ago. And thank God that my parents were not as bad as CPAC's... WON truly is fortunate to have been blessed with seemingly open minded and educated parents that will give him the strength he'll need when he DOES face opression in the future. And he will unfortunately. But that which doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Peace.
