Openings

Squirrel Hill Market

Pittsburgh Honey, forced to close its Squirrel Hill retail space in mid-March due to the pandemic, has now not just re-opened the doors on its original store, but also opened a new venture, the Squirrel Hill Market. Unlike its first store, the new market will offer an assortment of specialty foods — many from local purveyors, including Pittsburgh Honey — and everyday staples.

Pittsburgh Honey, which recently won Best Local Delivery in Pittsburgh City Paper's Best of Pittsburgh readers' poll, re-opened its own retail doors in August. Shopping is available inside both stores, online, or by phone. Pittsburgh Honey, 2327 Murray Ave., Squirrel Hill. 412-407-2705 or pittsburghhoney.squaresite and Squirrel Hill Market, 2329 Murray Ave., Squirrel Hill. 412-475-8495 or squirrelhillmarket.com

Shiloh Gastro has opened in the former home of Shiloh Grille in Mount Washington.
