🎃Halloween Costume Contest and The Final Vault at Spirit. 8 p.m.-2 a.m. 242 51st St., Lawrenceville. $20-25. spiritpgh.com – Be creepy under Ian Brill's iconic light installation one final time during a big costume party at Spirit. Dig into free pizza from the on-site Slice Island pizzeria as you move to music by live bands and DJs. Show off your best look during a costume contest hosted by Pissy Mattress.
🎃Darkness is Spreading: HELL(O) (T)HERE at Bricolage. 9 p.m.-1 a.m. 937 Liberty Ave., Downtown. $30. bricolagepgh.org - The events collective Darkness is Spreading presents HELL(O) (T)HERE, a Tim Burton-themed party at Bricolage. Wear your best Burton-inspired costume while dancing to music by an all-Black DJ lineup. There will also be go-go dancers, drag performances, and an open bar.
🎃Danse Macabre 4 at Mr. Smalls. 8 p.m.-1 a.m. 400 Lincoln Ave., Millvale. $16/18 at the door. 18 and older. nightskyprod.com - Break out the black clothes and eyeliner when the underground gothic Halloween party Danse Macabre returns to The Funhouse at Mr. Smalls. Presented by Night Sky Productions, the event will feature music by DJ Callisto and traveling goth acts like The Long Losts from New York, Caroline Blind from California, and Angel Metro from Virginia. There will also be a costume contest and sweet treats. Even better, the event is open to goth ghouls 18 and over.
