Bear Hands was an idea hatched while members were at Wesleyan College, and once the band was formed the members relocated to Brooklyn. From there, they have crafted a sound that blends elements of folk, synth pop, psychedelic rock and surf. Songs From Utopia is the band's third EP release, following 2011's High Society EP and 2010's Burning Bush Supper Club full-length album. The band has been touring consistently since forming in 2006 alongside MGMT, Vampire Weekend, As Tall As Lions, and Les Savy Fav.

The show at Brillobox this Saturday starts at 10 p.m. and also features Fort Lean and Satin Gum. Admission is $8.
