The event is described as serving to uplift and celebrate immigrants and workers, and join people in solidarity “against the white supremacist forces that dehumanize and pin us against each other.” It will also raise funds to create more protest art for Mayday.

DJ Thermos and Sean MC play a selection of hip-hop, pop, R&B, grunge, and other hits from the 1990s. Half of the door proceeds from the night will go towards Penn Plaza Support and Action, a coalition of residents, organizations, and volunteers mobilizing to provide support for displaced Penn Plaza residents and to take action for housing justice across Pittsburgh.
