Former Pittsburgh Steelers Brett Keisel at "Stronger than Hate: A Gathering of Compassion, Unity and Love"
The alleged shooter, Robert Bowers, reportedly said "All Jews must die because they are committing genocide against my people," as he surrendered.
That act of hate has rattled Pittsburgh. Thousands mourned their communities members, and thousands rallied in the streets.
But the hundreds of Pittsburghers had reason to celebrate today. They were joined by local leaders like Mayor Bill Peduto and several celebrities, like Tom Hanks and McKees Rocks native Michael Keaton. Former Pittsburgh Steelers player Brett Keisel and actress Tamara Tunie also rallied with the group. Everyone was joined by Mrs. Joanne Rogers, the wife of the late Pittsburgh icon, Fred Rogers.
