Re: “Pet Cause

It is really a heart breaking moment for a owner to lose their most lovable pet in front of their eyes. Even they get into trauma after such incidence. To avoid such circumstances you can take them for regular check up and can follow the guidelines prescribed by your Vets. You can also refer to on line assistance for the same like I prefer trifexis - https://www.petcarerx.com/trifexis/22843 for prevention of heartworm as it shows results within seconds. However, before its consumption, dont forget to consult your vet.

Re: “Showing Colors

I just scrolled in to this article. It's 12/29/16.
I could only make it through Ms. Young's writing before I puked all over my keyboard. THIS is journalism?
Violence is on the rise, racism is on the rise, hate speech is now graffiti on walks and buildings YET, YET the black population is on the RISE.
What could Ms. Young possibly have missed in her deep compelling research?

Re: “Double or Nothing?

My daughter is 29 and was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 4. She's not been able to lead a normal happy life. When in school (Westley Highlands), stimulants, risperidal and other medications were prescribed along with behavioral therapy which leaned toward abusive. Today, my daughter wants nothing to do with medication, she's depressed angry and has social anxiety. PTSD is also a continuing factor after suffering a childhood where mental health providers were more interested in their own importance than actually providing guidance. I would like to see her live a happy life...I don't see it happening...

Re: “How the Rusyns Could Save Civilization

It was very interesting - to me as a Rusyn living in Slovakia - to read this article about American Rusyns indeed. Thank you !

Re: “Your Pittsburgh cat needs a Pittsburgh toy, like a felt pierogie

I'm surprised that local stores like Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse and Artist and Craftsman aren't mentioned as go to stores for these supplies, but corporate giants are! Great project though.

Re: “The Lost Pets of Butler Street

One of those missing cats is mine! She's the beautiful dilute calico named Mochi, missing from Dresden Way between 53rd and 54th. We miss her so much. Please, if anyone has any info on her, contact me: 765-714-2627.

Re: “Tarentum man carries on the legacy of ‘That Guy with the Birds’

Wonderful to see! I saw John on a few occasions doing shows in different places. As an owner of 14 birds myself, I had great admiration for him. So happy to see Kenny carry on his legacy.

Re: “We Take Brunot in the Morning!

I'm a descendant of the Cumming family.....3 generations of which had owned and lived on the Brunot Island prior to it being sold....the land was farmed and the produce taken to market in Manchester and Allegheny City. I grew up listening to stories about life on the island...the family is no relation to Fortescue Cuming to my knowledge.

Re: “Turning the Tables

Hey, very nice site. I came across this on Google, and I am stoked that I did. I will definitely be coming back here more often. Wish I could add to the conversation and bring a bit more to the table, but am just taking in as much info as I can at the moment. Thanks for sharing.

Re: “Mike Wysocki’s Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park 15th-Anniversary Team

Actually, now that I am waking up, AJ could easily replace either Maholm or Benson.

Re: “Mike Wysocki’s Pittsburgh Pirates PNC Park 15th-Anniversary Team

I'd go with the one year of Volquez over Benson.

Re: “Replanting Cranberry

This is an old post I see,I'm interested in the 18+/- acre spot at the corner of little creek and rt.19.
I had a vision last night. Let's call it a spiritual awakening because He literally woke me up out of my sleep to start sketching plans for a business venture that has been the desire of my heart for a long, long time. With that being said, can you please give me a call and let me know what your vision is for that piece of property? My name is Anthony...724-841-7532. I know what my vision is and I would just like to know if I can make my dream and/or life purpose come true.

Re: “Ponying Up

As a new breeder I say PA as the best chance to make money as I keep my horse to race. After my first two foals being PA I decided to reduce my risk and breed to a NY sire. Now I have to decide to breed back and it will be hard to go back to PA with all this turmoil. Harness Racing will only survive if the fans/bettors return in force. The slots money has already started to be reduced.

Re: “Quarterback Controversy: Adding context to the Michael Vick signing

America has long looked at Public Figures, Celebrities & Athletes as role models. Michael Vick should not in any way be considered a role model- he has failed miserably as a role model & as a human being. Unconditional Love Foundation has received many messages & seen comments about how we should forgive Michael Vick, move on, he has paid his debt to society, he made a mistake, he is sorry etc. Sorry but we do not agree. Electrocuting, beating, drowning, shooting, hanging dogs and making dogs fight to the death for years is no mistake- it is reprehensible. Michael Vick did not make a mistake- he made a conscious decision to kill and torture dogs for his own amusement & financial gain. His only regret is getting caught. We have all seen photos & videos of Michael Vick working on his anti-dogfighting campaign, rest assured he is not doing that because he is reformed or cares about animals- it’s a PR stunt called damage control. Don’t believe me then look at the video below where someone who adopted one of Vicks dogs tries to talk to him. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, I think we have made ours pretty clear. Something else we want to make clear is Unconditional Love Foundation cares about people, pets & the planet and we do not condone any acts of violence, abuse, neglect or cruelty to any living being. https://www.facebook.com/340141625998854/videos/vb.340141625998854/1088581901154819/?type=2&theater
