Re: “Pittsburgh is not lacking Thanksgiving-style dishes

So sad that you mentioned JUST Mad Mex their knock off goblrito and only two other options after that. You could of done so much better. Guess you had a short trip home to type this out on your smart phone. Just saying. Waste of an article.

Re: “Stuff’d Pierogi Bar opens in Downtown Pittsburgh

FYI, you need to right click the "Share" button and open it in a new tab. Clicking once isn't doing anything.

Re: “The Rivalry Issue: Food Fight

My name is Michael. I'm from the south. I have eaten sandwiches from all over the U.S. as a truck driver. Primantis is nothing short of awesomeness. I have had a Polish Boy. The worst thing I have ever tasted in Cleveland. It also gave me severe intestinal difficulties which almost reminded me of food poisoning. Primantis Bros all the way! Go Steelers!

Re: “The Rivalry Issue: Food Fight

Who cares about Primantis vs. Polish Boy? Any random FatHeads sandwich kicks both in the butt.

Re: “Conflict Kitchen’s latest menu features North American cuisine with Haudenosaunee offerings

"The conflict might not be “current” in the same sense as the others"

It looks current out at Standing Rock...

Re: “The antidote to Pittsburgh’s highfalutin’ food-scene: Frankie’s Extra Long

Frankie's was there when Lawrenceville was still the stomping grounds for prostitutes and ne'er do wells, when every corner had pee-stained mattresses and every fifth window was broken.

Ah yes, those were the days!

Re: “Troy Hill’s Pear & The Pickle combines a coffee shop with sandwiches and a small general store

Love this place, and everything about it. I grew up going to this place when it was Huling's corner store. We used to buy penny candy from Vi's to enjoy with family/friends and neighbors while watching 8mm (I'm showing my age. Lol) movies outside in our yard that my dad borrowed from his work at Pittsburgh BPOE.
I'm so happy that a lot of the antique charm remains present in the space, right down to my childhood pal Barney's name carved into the woodwork! He even got a sandwich named after him!!!
I cant wait for the rooftop garden!!!

I still have contact through social media with Lynn who is related to Viola Hulings!!!!
I especially love that Alexis and Bobby are our neighbors!!! AWESOME PEOPLE!!!!!

Re: “Stop by the Dari-Villa, in Bellevue, for fresh potato pancakes

Use matzo meal to make them, Sarah. Negative Nancy.

I desire...Popcorn Necklaces.

Re: “Stop by the Dari-Villa, in Bellevue, for fresh potato pancakes

Potato pancakes are a Hannukah food and more importantly, flour is not kosher for Passover... but these do sound like they'd be good (in a few more days)!

Re: “Kip’s Ice Cream in Coraopolis focuses on fresh ingredients

If it's on Thorn Run Road it's in Moon Township - especially in this case - WAAYYYY into Moon Township. Just because it's in the 15108 doesn't mean it's in Coraopolis. I was all excited thinking that there was a new ice cream place in downtown Cory. Please learn your municipalities.
