Re: “Emiliano's Mexican Restaurant & Cantina

Horrible. The service was lousy and the food was so bland and tasteless. Will never go back. The margarita tasted like the liquid you are required to consume for a colonoscopy. Nasty. I was always under the impression that Mexican food was spicy since it is at other Mexican restaurants. Definitely not here. The beef quesadilla had plain ground meat and lettuce. No flavor, no onions, no spices, nothing. Even the taco meat was bland. Will not go back ever.

Re: “Sunny Bridge Natural Foods

Don't waste your time, money and gas. Gluuteny bakery in Squirrel Hill is dedicated GF (Sunnybridge is not any longer), and they have much more talented pastry chefs.

Re: “Geekadrome

Alright. Story time.

So this all happened three days ago. Me and a few friends(Regulars of his) go to open a box of yugioh cards I had purchased the previous day from another store. I didnt expect this to be an issue since hes primarily a comic book shop, secondary a magic shop, and doesnt even stock yugioh cards except for a small amount of old cards. He seemed a bit annoyed, asked if we'd not open product from other places again in his store, i apologize and we continue on. About an hour later i hear him talking about us with another customer(Mind you im sitting actually 5 feet away from him) about us opening the box. I simply pretend i didnt hear anything as i didnt want to cause problems for my friends considering they like to frequent the place and id rather not be "that guy"

fast forward to about 10 minutes ago, my friend texts me this (Paul is the store owner)

Basically the guy posted on FB some dramatic, exaggerated story about what happened.

1 It wasnt raining
2 He stays open this late for his regulars all the time, there were other people than just us in there
3.All of us were over 18 except for my friend's little brother
4.Even if all of the above was true, you shouldn't make passive aggressive comments about your customers on Facebook WHILE THEY ARE STILL IN THE STORE

Re: “Fahrenheit the Evolution Salon

I was recommended to this salon by a couple of people. They said nothing, but good things. My experience here was horrible. My stylist was Larissa. My first appointment wasn't great, so I should had left and not got service. Against my better judgement I let her service me after her being 45 minutes late. She already knew the issues I was experiencing with my hair, so why would you cut it so short where I can no longer cover the bald spot? The next three times there she was late and to me late equals unprofessional and not reliable something I told her I was looking for in a stylist when she did my consultation. Do not waste your time or money and find somewhere else to go.

Re: “The Theatre Factory

Saw Pippin and left after 1st act. The performers are very talented, but the story line lacks depth and the explicit sexual nature is over the top and not in good taste. A more focused plot may have held our interest; Act 1, just seemed to drag on and on. Other musicals we've seen here were very well done and definitely held your interest. A big disappointment.

Re: “BoxHeart Gallery

Cutting edge exhibits and an interesting space. Welcoming atmosphere and gifts for sale in addition to the excellent and varied works of talented up and coming and well established artists.

Re: “Rodman Street Missionary Baptist Church

This church is very welcoming and offers a powerful worship experience. The music ministry including a house band and several choirs are part of the uplifting prayer service. Rodman Street offers special programs and Sunday School.

Re: “Spice Island Tea House

I am happy to note that, contrary to what I said in an earlier review, they now serve alcoholic beverages.

Re: “The Mr. Roboto Project

Venue with absolutely no amenities, a history of sexual harassment, & run by a commitee with a horrible attitude. Cliquish & judgemental would be an understatement. They hastily ban people for having an opinion that doesn't completely align with theirs. It's a complete waste of time for anyone wanting to play a show in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere is awkward & uncomfortable & the shows are sparsely attended.

Re: “Drew's Family Restaurant

Drews Family Restaurant NEVER removes the snow from the sidewalk in front of their restaurant. Why? This is in violation of a local ordinance yet it seem like Forest Hills does NOTHING to enforce this VIOLATION. This Restaurant is NOT RECOMMENDED since they show such little concern for the safety of their neighbors.

Re: “Kelly's Bar & Lounge

Worst drink and customer service I have ever experienced from a bar. I politely asked for a cocktail menu and Caleb C. rolled his eyes at me and huffed as he turned. I ordered a Rusty Nail cocktail that had two ingredients Scotch and Drambuie of which it was poured very heavy on the Drambuie. I was polite the entire transaction saying please and thank you of which Caleb C. said nothing to either me or my friend. The people behind us even noticed his attitude towards us and even inquired upon it asking what we did to make Caleb C. frustrated with us. Caleb C. also associated the people behind us with them and proceeded to make the frequent customers Moscow Mule very sub-par as per asking them myself. I honestly feel shafted for $12.84 not only in money but in time and leaving such a bad taste in my mouth.

Re: “El Burro Comedor

My taco had barely anything on it. No real seating inside. Expensive taco. Was very good tasting. As I ate my food, a poster on a wall talked about Penis and something... was odd. Would get take out.
