Pittsburgh voters took to the polls today to cast their votes in the 2025 general election. Corey O’Connor, current Allegheny County controller, came out on top against Republican Tony Moreno, becoming Pittsburgh’s 62nd mayor. O’Connor addressed a room full of his supporters after poll results came in stating, “I want to thank you, the people of Pittsburgh. This victory belongs to you. No matter who you supported tonight, we are united in the fight for a safer, more transparent and more robust city.”
