Though Pittsburgh is no stranger to reality TV, it’s rare to see it on restaurant rescue shows. (Maybe it’s our pathological aversion to change.) But Gordon Ramsay, the perpetually yelling chef of Kitchen Nightmares fame, recently put out a casting call for “struggling restaurants” within 45 miles of Pittsburgh, Detroit, or Cleveland.
According to the announcement by JS Casting, a major TV network will assist restaurants that are “ready to be rescued” with their menu, management, and service. Pittsburgh Redditors have already made a list of establishments they’d like to see put in the hot seat. View the “Gordon Ramsay Restaurant Show” casting call and application online.
