Program Coordinator. The Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh are looking for a full-time Program Coordinator for their Arts Education Collaborative. Formed in 1998, the Arts Education Collaborative (AEC) offers programs and resources that support quality arts education in southwestern Pennsylvania. The Programs Coordinator coordinates and supports the planning and implementation of AEC programs by working closely with school liaisons. Intervention Specialist. Non-profit Women’s Center & Shelter of Greater Pittsburgh is a comprehensive domestic violence program annually serving over 7,700 adult and child survivors of domestic violence & facilitating an intervention program for nearly 300 people. Their MENS Program is in need of a full-time Intervention Specialist, who will use counseling and group facilitation skills to help men understand healthy stress-coping skills while motivating and coaching them to adopt non-abusive behaviors. You will plan for and facilitate intervention groups, conduct intake appointments, make appropriate referrals for additional assistance, and attend quarterly Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) collaborative meetings. Waste Diversion Specialist. The Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) is a nonprofit that stewards resources to prevent waste and conserve the environment. They are currently seeking a full-time Waste Diversion Specialist to support the execution of PRC’s weekly e-waste recycling program and the City of Pittsburgh’s Residential Composting Pilot rollout. The position will work with the Recycling Operations Coordinator, Zero Waste Program Manager, and various other staff to execute aspects of the composting pilot and support weekly recycling programs.
