It is only when I breathe that I think of you. It is only when I awaken or fall into sleep that I remember who you are. It is only when, purely by reflex, I open my eyes and shut them tightly again that I can hear your voice as if you were speaking to me. It is on those rare occasions that I find myself walking, or sitting, or lying down. It is on those rare occasions that I find my thoughts work their way towards you across miles and miles of immeasurable distances. Only then do I pause and think of you.
