Pittsburgh Irish Festival
The Pittsburgh Irish Festival is getting a little bit wetter this year, but in a good way. After cancelations due to extreme flooding during the 2018 event, the 29th Annual Pittsburgh Irish Festival, September 6-8, is taking place at a new location: The Lots at Sandcastle.

Although the location is changed, guests can still expect to see their favorite Irish international, national, and local acts.

“We’re so excited to be presenting more entertainers than ever before at this year’s Pittsburgh Irish Festival,” says Mairin Petrone, executive director of the Pittsburgh Irish Festival in a press release. “Anchored by eight international headliners, we are presenting our most diverse entertainment lineup!”

The lineup features new bands, solo performers, well-known favorites, six local Irish dance groups, and more on four stages. Some of those acts include Doolin’, Eileen Ivers, Colm Keegan of Celtic Thunder, JigJam, Makem & Clancy, The Screaming Orphans, Bastard Bearded Irishman, Corned Beef & Curry, Donnie Irish, and The Wild Geese who will all be headlining acts on various evenings and stages.
