Afroheat x Pandemic presents El Dusty with CQ The Drummer at Spirit. 9:30 p.m.-2 a.m. 242 51st St., Lawrenceville. $10. spiritpgh.com – Afroheat returns for a special collaboration with Pandemic to highlight the Afro-Latin rhythms of Cumbia, a genre and dance from Colombia and Panama. The two dance events will present Texas-based producer/DJ El Dusty, whose influences include Tejano anthems, Chicano soul music, and classic rock, alongside a solid education in hip-hop, house music and DMC videos. Joining him is his percussionist, CQ the Drummer. The set will debut El Dusty’s recently-developed live visual projections.
