[INDIE POP] + WED., OCT. 4

Baltimore duo Wye Oak create a hard-to-pin-down kind of pop that dabbles in styles — like synth pop, indie pop and indie rock — without fully committing to any genre. Its latest release, Tween, is a compilation of abandoned songs written between the recording of its two previous albums, making for an interesting glimpse into a changing sound. The duo will play Club Café tonight along with the smooth and funky sounds of Luke Temple.

8 p.m. 58 S. 12th St., South Side. $20. 21 and older. 412-431-4950 or www.clubcafelive.com
