New show announcements: Jeff Beck, Anti-Flag, Garth Brooks

Usually this post comes Tuesday afternoons, but I got a bit behind yesterday, and pushed it back to Wednesday. Good thing, because a few big show announcements came in this morning; here's your roundup of concerts coming to town soon:

Announced this morning, Garth Brooks is coming to Consol Energy Center along with his wife, Trisha Yearwood. There'll be three shows: Thu., Feb. 5 at 7:30, and Sat., Feb. 7, at 7:30 and 10:30. (If you've got friends in low places, that last show is probably for you.) No word on whether Chris Gaines will make an appearance. Tickets are $69 and go on sale next Friday, via these methods:, or Ticketmaster by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849.

Legendary guitarist and onetime Yardbird Jeff Beck comes to the Palace Theatre in Greensburg on Sun., April 26; tickets stretch from $79.50-99.50, and go on sale this Friday.

Local political punk heroes Anti-Flag celebrate a decade of their album The Terror State with a show at Altar Bar on Fri., Feb. 6, in which they'll play that record straight through. All ages, tickets $18-20, on sale Friday.

On Mon., Dec. 29, Feed Me will be playing a DJ set, also at Altar Bar — $25-30, 18 and over, tickets on sale now.

And in the last-minute announcement department, Chris Jamison, the North Hills resident who got the audience save last night on The Voice on NBC, will play a homecoming show TONIGHT at Stage AE. It's being put together by WPXI and Star 100.7, and is free and all ages but apparently you need to win tickets — which you can do via or listening to 100.7, starting at noon.

[This post was updated to reflect a clarification on the Chris Jamison show, sent by Stage AE as an update to their first press release.]
