In a banner day for old white guys coming to town, we've learned of two huge concert announcements this morning: Bob Dylan and The Who. (Not together.)
Dylan brings his band to Heinz Hall soon: Thu., Nov. 20, for what's sure to be a unique show in the old concert hall. Tickets for that show go on sale here next Thursday; they start at $49.50.
And according to an email from the official email list of The Who, that band comes to town on its 2015 50th anniversary tour. That's next year, obviously; the date is Oct. 23, at Consol Energy Center. In a "Hope I die before I ever do this" move, the band is offering holders of Citicard — the official credit card of The Who Hits 50! Tour, I'm not making this up — will get a chance at presale tickets early, starting Monday. The rest of us plebs wait until next Friday. That link is here.
