Pittsburgh's in the national spotlight this week after more than 1,800 knitters, crocheters and other volunteers helped to yarn bomb the Andy Warhol Bridge. Art director Lisa Cunningham checked out the scene for City Paper on Thursday afternoon. Knit the Bridge will be on view until Fri., Sept. 6.
On Sun., Aug. 25, from 3-7 p.m., the bridge will be closed to traffic for a Knit the Bridge party (food trucks, crafts, music). All are welcome.
