The location for Sunday's rally in support of food trucks is the East Liberty parking lot of Big Brothers, Big Sisters at 5989 Penn Circle South. It will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

If you're just tuning in, the rally is being organized as part of an effort to change the mobile vending rules in the city of Pittsburgh, particularly as they effect the growing food truck scene. Check out this City Paper article for the story behind the city's stringent law and its impact.

The rally is the third event thrown this month by the owners of one of Pittsburgh's pioneer trucks, Franktuary, the Saxifrage School and the Washington, D.C.-based Institute for Justice under a newly created group, PGH Mobile Food. The first two events featured lectures and a discussion on how laws can be changed.

At Sunday's gathering, City Councilor Bill Peduto is expected to announce the details of new legislation he intends to introduce to his colleagues regarding the vending rules.
