Pittsburgh Craft Beer week is happening now - April 28th and will be celebrated with over 200 events in and around the Pittsburgh area. Pittsburgh City Paper attended Rock Bottom Brewery's "Beer As Cocktails" Competition Thursday, April 25th. Rock Bottom Brewery hosted bar-keeps from around the Pittsburgh area who were crafting unique, one of kind “Beer Cocktails” utilizing the three Pittsburgh Craft Beer Collaborative Beers as featured ingredients. Guests were able to sample all three collaborative brews as well as the libations the competing bartenders submit for judging. City Papers own Lindsey & Ashley got to be a part of this event by judging the cocktails!! The winner was Tony Jezzi of Saga (a Japanese Steak House in Monroeville)! Congratulations Tony!
