Riverhounds secure first victory in home opener

The Pittsburgh Riverhounds won their first game of the season against Hartford in the final minutes of Saturday’s home opener at Highmark Stadium. Pittsburgh’s captain, Danny Griffin scored the game-winning goal in the 75th minute as he took a header from Junior Etou’s perfect cross right in front of the net. The Hounds’ now have one win, one loss and one draw. Their next game is this Saturday, Mar. 29, against Birmingham at home.
