CP REVIEW: This deli in the heart of Oakland is proof that a healthy meal can be both fast and delicious. Red Oak uses the freshest organic and locally grown ingredients, and translates them to the more humble, but arguably much more indispensable, arena of the student-quarter deli. Though the mainstays are sandwiches and salads, there is also a daily “Blue Plate” entree special, eggs and vegan offerings. [April 15, 2009]
