I've been thinking
about stealing
the flowers and bushes
that line the entrance
to the new Exxon station.
What do they need them for,
anyway? It is more a parody
of a garden than a garden. It is more
a mockery of nature than natural. The yews
are bound to be run over, or oiled up.
I have driven by the station again,
and now, they have planted
begonias in a blocked script
that reads EXXON.
