Sure, there are plenty of celebrity silkscreens, Brillo boxes and other Warhol favorites ... but this is no mausoleum. The Warhol features a wide spectrum of often politically engaged exhibits and happenings, many of which take up such Warholian themes as gender and the role of artist in society.
The museum screens Warhols pioneering films and videos daily in its small auditorium, plus special showings of cult films, rarities, contemporary avant-garde work and art films.
