      <![CDATA[I work as an entertainer in pgh. I'm required to pay my boss a fee to work there, I get charged extra if I'm running late, also, tip the DJ, the bartender (whose the owner) and the bar maid with my tip $.

      <![CDATA["He had been requiring his servers — who can clear $250 a night in tips each — to share a small portion of what they earned, about $10 each a night, with his dishwashers.<br>
Dishwashers 'are the lowest paid in the restaurant industry, and they physically work the hardest,' Seager says. 'I thought it was just a kind gesture, a fair gesture.'

      <![CDATA[From someone who has worked for Jesse for over five years, I can assure that he takes good care of all of his employees. I've worked in just about all positions in both restaurants and not one position is overlooked, including the dishwashers.

      <![CDATA[I am personally aware that Ruggers on the southside does this. Not only are tips shared with the kitchen staff, but the manager gets a cut every single shift.

      <![CDATA[Sounds like Mr. Seagar should be paying his diswashers more if he thinks they're deserving of a salary increase and not require the people he's barely paying (tipped employees in Pennsylvania are often paid $2.13/hr) to cover his shortcomings. I know I won't be supporting either of his businesses any longer.
