Actually, FAWM is much more than an online community - many participants meet locally, and after February there are FOPs (FAWM Over Parties) all over the globe, where FAWMers play their new songs to each other and have tons of fun.

I am from Germany, and I have made many great friends through this platform. For the last three years I went to the FOP in London, and I will do it again this year - it is totally worth it.

Even FAWMers from Britain, Canada and America have been visiting each other, so this has really turned into an international network, and I believe it is one of the most wonderful things on the internet and beyond.

I really appreciate the non-competitiveness of the whole endeavour.
