Wow. What an ignorant argument. Saying it does place burdens but the burdens are worth it is an honest argument. Denying there are financial burdens is ignorant.

There is absolutely no reason for Democrats to balance budgets or run surpluses. As soon as they do, someone like George W. Bush will run for office telling everyone that the surplus is evidence that the government is taking too much of your money and we need to cut taxes to run deficits again.
