Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium
Often referred to by old-timers as the Highland Park Zoo, this facility is open year-round and is home to 4,000 animals, including many endangered species. The habitats are naturalistic, and a new polar bear exhibit allows visitors to see the bears underwater. Open daily.
