Thank you for voting Marta On The Move in 2nd for best podcast! So excited! Congrats to everyone, we have such an amazing city of folks. Shout out to my brothers for winning 1st! @icantfindmarta www.martaonthemove.com
I think so much of a restaurant has to do with the atmosphere that you are part of in it. Going to a restaurant should be an experience, and take you into a different world. I haven't been to this particular place yet, but I'm sure one of the main reasons it was on top was because the ascetic inside. http://www.royalindia.com.au
customer happy is best in sports bar.
YES! Thank you so much for posting about this. My family and I just moved to Mesa and we have been trying to find the best places to eat and this article has made my day!
My kids are going to love the best food truck list.
They love food trucks and I have heard of the Fat Head Saloons from my husband who I believe loves his beer. So that would be a great place for him. I’ll be looking at the wine list of best places. So exciting
"...those rules fly right into the Allegheny like a towering moonshot from PNC Park in July." I vote this "best sentence" in a feel good, home-town story.
Cash, These winners were all selected by our readers. We have no influence other than report the results.
I think you should let the people vote! Some of the picks were spot on but you missed quite few spots. Maybe do a section of the best of whats new not OLD.
Jasiri, a man of spirit and consciousness. More power to you. Peace through Justice. Keith
Well deserved. Jasiri is a great person and a great emcee. Peace & love. ~ J. BAIR
it's a high school popularity contest that has no bearing on objective reality in most cases of those categories ... low I.Q. 25 year olds don't know what's what. C'mon , City Paper. Most categories are waaaay off . Including food truck, Mexican restaurant , Indian restaurant and others. Boo .
Same old same old....Pittsburgh is so stuck in a time warp right up there with WDVE and their top played songs(pink Floyd...led Zeppelin ...Metallica....ugh) so many amazing bands and places to eat and yet it's the same old hipster crap on your list every year
??? How was Twelve the best new bar with five 1 star ratings on yelp? Something's fishy and it isn't just the usual patrons' scents.
Let me add my 2 cents: Mad Mex? for best mexican?? Crazy Mocha, when there are several excellent cafes? And what happened to the preference for independent restaurants or cafes?
This is the dumbest thing I have ever seen. Mad Mex for best mexican? Crazy Mocha for best coffee?
Pittsburgh ex-pat so I haven't been here, but...ugh...say no more; "the force behind Diesel, Steel Cactus, Dominic's Famous Deli and Bottle Shop, Skybar, Delanie's Coffee and Local Bar + Kitchen."
Mad Mex voted Best Mexican restaurant in Pittsburgh by people who don't know anything about Mexican restaurants...
That looks familiar, Chris, but I ain't even mad. Let's get the word out. http://www.reddit.com/r/pittsburgh/comment…
Ten Penny is awful. I'm shocked it is on this list multiple times.
