Re: “Critics’ Picks, April 21-27

Why does the Colleen Green description have to denigrate her music by putting out the disclaimer that it "might not be ground breaking"? Who gives a fuck what you people think is groundbreaking? Her records rip and her writing is as good as anybody out there. I don't see you taking shots like that at EyeHateGod (same old sludgy shit), but then again, this is Pittsburgh after all. Boooooo!

Re: “Critics’ Picks, March 17-23

The information about Hubbs is pretty inaccurate. ANTUKS is a videographer.. you guys really need to get more connected with the HipHop scene here.

Re: “Critics’ Picks, Feb. 25 – March 2

Thanks for the recommendations. Lots of good jazz, too, this weekend, which I see you've done a feature on.

Also, don't forget the "Star Trek: the Ultimate Voyage" concert at the Benendum on Tues 3/1. A live symphony orchestra will be playing songs from the 50-year Star Trek canon of TV shows all the way up through the JJ Abrams reboot. Big-screen video too.

Re: “Critics’ Picks, Oct. 8-14

If you dig really good cover band music then don't miss this show

In a world of original bands there is the artistry of just playing other peoples music. So why not spend an evening with two of the most eclectic and unconventional acoustic cover bands in Pittsburgh today in a head to head (battle of the bands / unplugged) kinda show featuring some of the coolest music you've already heard .. only the way we do it. We promise you'll walk away scratching your head thinking "how did they do that ?" Don't miss this one !!

Cover Bands Dont Suck ! - 10pm Friday Oct 9th at Club Cafe ... tickets only $8.00

Featuring the sounds of the 2014 Pitt Battle of the Bands, The Brothers Craig, Right TurnClyde and the Pittsburgh Premier of Crawdad Joe.

Re: “Critics' Picks: August 7 - 13

Motely Crue & Alice Cooper??? This is truly the ultimate 'rock' concert...as in 'rocking-chair'!!! and, what better venue than the Viagra Pavillion. I hope their, 'Cease and Desist' contract is irrevocable. May Lawrence Welk R.I.P.
