Re: “As Pennsylvania’s voter-registration deadline approaches, Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald calls for Election Day volunteers

Nobody won in the debate.
On most websites, polling tells us that Mrs Clinton
gains points more or less after debate.
As a matter of fact, situation is favoring Mrs Clinton.

In the photo of Block with Clinton, I think he might be crossing his fingers behind his back.

Re: “Donald Trump in Pittsburgh: Drilling into the candidate's nonsense on natural gas

All I know is that since the Obumma administration the coal industry has taken a fall. A BIG FALL. He and Killary vowed to put an end to the coal industry and between the two of them they did just that. Do you even have a clue as to how many lives and jobs this affects? Well do you?

Re: “Style Week Launches

I read somewhere in The Beauty Insiders that 2013 was such a special year for fashion. And I can see why. With all the great floral dresses and pantsuits. I heavily influenced my style and look around that year.

This would not be the first blunder of the Post-Gazette, but it would be the worst.

Re: “Donald Trump in Pittsburgh: Drilling into the candidate's nonsense on natural gas

Donald Trump doesn't seem to have a clue. He doesn't know how the government functions; doesn't seem to care really.
I think, if he wins, he's in for a big surprise.

I am also trying to find a phone number for a local Hillary office. Is it a secret?

Re: “Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald bikes to Washington D.C.

I am a bike rider myself and ride the rails to trails all the time I plan on doing a ride from the top of the Laurel Mountains back to Pittsburgh it's a three day trip but its all down hill :-) the way I like it being 53, their are nice places to stay over night along the way and have a camp fire under the stars. If anyone is interested in doing this trip let me know, soon will be fall, the leaves are already falling from the trees. Eric from Pittsburgh PA

Re: “Pittsburgh activists block street to protest Dakota pipeline

thank you very much for covering this story!!

your link on the line "Local activists are collecting supplies to send to those camped out in North Dakota" does not appear to link to information about said supply drives?

the supply drive that was mentioned at the rally is mine. I'm collecting donations at Scratch Food & Beverage (1720 Lowrie street) in Troy Hill through this saturday!!

here is a link to the flyer with info:

Re: “Q&A With @keeppittsburghdope Photographer Chancelor Humphrey

Where I come from, having style means your Steelers jersey is mesh, #10, and reads "Stewart". Having style means the t-shirts you wear were given to you by a previous employer.

Style goes beyond the clothes you wear. Having style means you know how to live with passion and grace. Style means you understand Duke Ellington and James Street Gastropub.

I think I will have my kid bring me to one of these Creatives Drink events. I'm not creative but I do drink.

Patti wasn't there, hasn't been on this tour at all. The only woman onstage (Besides the local violinists who left after the first song) was Suzy Tyrell...

Re: “While the spirit of the message may be there, the #Never movement is maddeningly misused on incumbents

I find myself having to choose between a fairly honest and ethical right-wing extremist and a corrupt corporate hack from the Rendell/Clinton machine.

If only the DFC hadn't inappropriately spent money attacking Sestak in the primary, I wouldn't be facing this choice. I used to be a fundraiser for the DFC, and they told everyone the money would be used against Republicans in key races.

The National Democratic Party has become a den of thieves. I don't know if I can vote for Toomey, but I absolutely can't vote for that fracker McGinty.

Re: “While the spirit of the message may be there, the #Never movement is maddeningly misused on incumbents

Nonsense. Your entire argument rests on the unwarranted assumption that the phrase refers only to a singular, isolated idea.
"Never" could refer to any number of things in this context, both logically and grammatically.
Never vote for.
Never support.
Never accept.
And on and on.

Re: “Pittsburgh City Paper's Democratic National Convention Live Blog: Day 4

As an African American I am ashamed about the support our community gives to those two narsasist bill and Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump is our only option! I believe he will restore the manufacturing job that Hillary and the democrats took from me and my father more than 7 years ago. We need more jobs in the African American community and equally important we need more jobs in the American community!!!
Make America Great Again!!!
I'm going to do my part!!!

Re: “McGinty and Toomey pick up endorsements from gun-control advocacy groups in Pennsylvania's U.S. Senate race

Both of these dudes fully support your 2nd Amendment right to hunt. And they fully support your right to use a fully semi-automatic piece while hunting.

I collect antique whiskey stuff and have many antique whiskey items from both MD and PA. I would be willing to lend some antique PA whiskey items for display. See "GunOwnerDan" in youtube to contact me.

Re: “Pittsburgh group protests vice-presidential nominee Mike Pence's workers'-rights history and policies

Absurd that people strictly adhere to party lines. I personally have voted for the democrat tickets my entire life, and this will be the first election I refuse to do so. I want an outsider who has been successful and not the face of my party who has been embroiled in more controversy and is a compulsive liar. I don't like Trump, but I do think that he has proven to be able to run multiple companies profitably (not all, but definitely multiple), so he has a better chance of doing that for our government. Especially moreso than someone who supposedly came out of the white house "penniless" and used her political weight for personal enrichment while jeopardizing our nation and lying to her people constantly. I don't believe in these lifelong politicians anymore, as they only serve those who benefit themselves. We need a drastic change and shake up -- and yes, change is scary - but look what it brought us last time we made history by electing our contry's first african-american president! Aside from his personal perogatives, I think he did a far better job than what we will get under a Clinton Administration, and that is indeed scary!
