I don't know who "Pittsburgh Dad" is, but I would tell them to get over themselves. Actually solving problems is hard, but it can get results. Protesting is easy, but it's mostly just narcissistic attention-seeking that solves nothing.

"Using the naked female form in campaigns is nothing new for PETA. The organization has been criticized for sexualizing women in its campaigns before."

It's always good to see the PC Police turning on each other. No wonder the left is imploding.

Clever demo. Many people don't realize that eating meat is one of the biggest water wasters and polluters.

This is one of the many reasons why I'm vegan. I hope this action convinced more people that meat production wastes water and other resources. Eating plant-based foods instead of animal-based ones also saves land and energy, not to mention animals.

Re: “What's a sneckdown and what does it teach us about Pittsburgh road design?

Schenley Drive (near the Schenley Park visitor center) should be made into a perfect roundabout complete with bike and pedestrian ways.

Re: “Port Authority of Allegheny County leadership quietly shaken up, advocates ask for more transparency

Another Deto special: No original reporting and poor editing.

The fact of the matter is that the people elected the county executive and the mayor. Those positions come with appointing powers that don't get vetted publicly.

Re: “Pittsburghers call on PWSA to improve water quality and service

Fluoridation chemicals not only increase the amount of lead and other neurotoxic metals in drinking water, they increase the absorbtion of these poisons into bodies, bones and brains.

I especially like the title of #7 on this short list of citations: http://momsagainstfluoridation.org/sites/default/files/pdf-documents/FluorideChloramineLead_2_2.pdf
