Saw them a few weeks ago, fun live band
This was fixed in my opinion. Congrats to EVERYONE that won!!! & my opinion is only geared toward two catorgories....-male rap artist & -rap album/mixtape.... and when it comes to actual grind, work ethic, lyricism & consistency of a nominated "male rap artist" then -Quizzle The Cannon shoulda won OR actual view numbers, quality product nd popularity of a nominated "rap album/mixtape" then -The Underdog Pt.2 should have won! Thats just my honest opinion but i mean if you disagree then hit up datpiff or google or wherever else. Actual resumes and numbers dont lie. It was fixed nd personal favorites were awarded!
You should mention how Jesse changed the repeating line at the end of Soco to "I'm just jealous, cause you're young and in love."
It was a fitting and touching end to the set.
YES!!!! So Good!
Why are the political messages portrayed in RATM lyrics mock-able? Because you don't agree with them? Do you view them as infantile?
except duritz is actually talented so..
I'm sure he was thinking "if a guy that made legitimately good music is killing himself, what should I be doing?"
D'oh! Sorry, typo -- the date is updated now. For what it's worth, the mention in the paper has the right date. :)
Cool it man!
Technically, Saturday is the 29th ... but close enough. :)
Father Flamethrower thanks you for the positive write up CP!
Anyone who prefers levity as opposed to unrelenting militancy in their tribute bands should check out my Dazzletine tribute band: Sparkle Oafs.
I agree. For shame, Ms. Welsh!
Either have a heart like De-La-O or get the fuck of the commode!
Take it easy on them. Just because someone likes the music and has an appreciation for it doesn't mean they have to pretend to be them in every way possible. As I understand it, they were playing the songs as a cover band to have fun and not playing the role of a hardcore tribute band like Mark Wahlberg in Rockstar. Cut them some slack please.
In case you care, John Darnielle notes via Twitter that this is a solo Mountain Goats show, not the full touring band.
Thankyou Courtney. It was a great nite and we wish you all the best of luck- team Enigma.
Voice sounds good Seth!
Have heard them once, thru a friend, and they are good! I voted all my votes for them today! Never realized we had any say in who was picked to go to the Grammys' and it would be great if one of our local bands wins that honor!!
This song went doppler!
Totally cool! I love the kaleidoscope of sounds that Troxum brings to his music!
