Rosita: I was thinking later, you could kiss me on the veranda.
Dusty Bottoms: On the lips would be fine.

Re: “Black Yoga brings Om and om together

Ironic when the ego comes through the back door in a disguise of the (ignorant) righteous. Black Yoga makes perfect sense, contemporary drone music is structurally and even sonically linked to Kirtan, mantra chanting and indian classical music.
It can take a person deeper into their self; darkness needs to be explored.

Re: “WuLords combine hip hop and The Art of War

Wow! "You can't survive off of Twizzlers, Skittles and a whole bunch of candy," says D.I.G.I. "You gotta get some vegetables, and that's what we are — the vegetables." He is absolutely correct ! can't wait for military combat to drop.

Re: “Black Yoga brings Om and om together

Yoga means to Yoke up with God, here in the West we are Yoking up to Ego related nonsense, what else is new when Ancient Sacred knowledge gets put thru the American ringer?

Kimee Massie is doing a great job as she is offering a different Yoga class for not only oriented to women but also to the men. Hopefully it will achieve its goal.

Re: “Steeline brings drum-line entertainment to Steelers games

When reporting on this drumline, please include more historically accurate facts.

Technically, Vince Wallace wasn't the first one to "come up with the idea for a Steelers Drumline." Tiras Allen composed music for a Steelers drumline under the direction of Dave McKivitz back in 2006. In 2007, I followed in Tiras Allen's steps by composing music and performing at the Steelers games, also under the direction of Dave McKivitz. The performing members would perform outside of the stadium gates, and receive free end-zone tickets and boxed-lunches.

The only reason the drumline was never an "official" part of the Steelers organization is because the Pittsburgh Steelers PR representative declined to make an official affiliation time after time after time. Most of the drummers were involved with an indoor drumline known as the Project Percussion which performed on an international basis within the Winter Guard International circuit.

Props to those drummers cranking out the beats, and I hope that they do become an official affiliate of the Pittsburgh Steelers. I wish them the best. HERE WE GO STEELERS, HERE WE GO!!!

Sincerely, J. Austin Osterhout

Re: “Identity X rocks to remember a friend

I feel such great admiration for Mike's friends; they have continued to support Mike's memory by creating a scholarship in his name and are working so hard to fund it. Mike's facebook page is full of posts from people who have not forgotten him. His legacy will live on in this scholarship and in peoples memories. Thank you Identity X, Phi Delta Theta, and all of Mike's other friends!

Re: “Lava Lounge Revives Emo Glory Days

"Lyrically, [Rites Of Spring] also shifted hardcore into intensely personal realms and, in doing so, are often considered the first "emo" band, but [the band] itself rejects any association between themselves and emo genres."

Re: “Lava Lounge Revives Emo Glory Days

Rites of Spring and Fugazi are post-hardcore.

Re: “My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure boards AbsolutePunk with new single

Local band releases song on internet. What a huge story! How old is Gregg Harington? Is the city paper actually paying him for his "skills" in Music Journalism? That rifling sound you hear Gregg is the editors of Alternative Press throwing your "portfolio" in the trash.
