Go fuck yourself Jack Wolf
That sounds absolutely disgusting.
The owner is authentic Greek and very nice..the food is the best Greek food I have ever had...The Gyros are huge! This is a must when your in the Shadyside area..
I had one of these at a food truck round up at Coffee Buddha a few weeks ago...it is amazing!
Areas such as Hazelwood need such places to provide fresh fruits and vegetables at a fair price! Kudos to Dianne Shenk for moving forward on this!
The address is 5700 Centre Ave
where can I find you!!!
I absolutely LOVE mac n cheese..
I never ever go downtown..
what parts of the city do you go to
I have deleted two previous comments that traded libelous accusations.
I miss Yuvi's. When I worked downtown I'd drop in almost every Friday, always the same, 2 chili cheese dogs & a chili cheese fry. Often was ready when I got through the line to order. Great service.
No, not good for them... If they are giving their employees health coverage at all, they should not care what parts of health coverage they are covering. It's not a company's business to meddle in their employee's personal lives. An employee's health care is an employee's business and not their employer's. Pretty sure a woman being on birth control or not has no effect on how much the employer pays or anything else. It's a woman's business, and this is not a church or even a religious school... It's a for profit company this is just trying to get in the middle of someone's personal healthcare choices... For anyone reading this: women go on birth control for many reasons. A lot of the time it's more related to the woman's menstrual cycle than her sex life. Also, 80% of religious women have been on birth control at some point in their lives. It's not religious women opposing this, it's religious men. Get over it and stop trying to control what women do with their bodies!
Cool. An idea that was actually born a long time ago in "The Jerk" where he works at the 'Pizza-in-a-cup' stand. :P
It was AWFUL. I bought beer there around last Thursday, and I noticed something didn't taste right every time I drank one. Turns out, it expired 3 MONTHS AGO. I went back to return it and the guy was being a real prick about it. He denied it was his even though it had their actual internal code sticker on it. I got some money back, but I will NEVER buy from there again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL.
This spot has amazing artwork inside on the walls and floor! plus, the coffee is quality
@ Rob Schnatterly, male servers generally don't have to uses their sexuality. Female servers have to flirt and smile through sexual harassment from customers to make sure they make enough money to pay their bills. And yes, I have been working in the service industry for about ten years. You, however, have never been a female in the service industry.
I'm a male waiter and certainly do not rely on my sexuality to get tips. Funny that's how you thought it works. I can tell that you have never been in the industry.
On another note, great article. I wonder if they're hiring?
Nice concept, but making servers rely on tips (and their sexuality to get tips) is still degrading.
What a great article about a great restaurant
Again and again I read that there are no restaurants in Braddock. Maybe this is sort of true? But let's not forget the Braddock Redux project (John Fetterman's non-profit), the Braddock Community Cafe. Why is all of Fetterman's energy going into this new idea when the cafe is in need of support? The cafe is already priced fairly, no sliding scale needed. Fetterman should try getting the first project done right before moving on to this restaurant that is only going to further alienate Braddock residents.
The U.S. is moving towards Plutocracy, Fetterman's trying for the same in Braddock.
Is the whole restaurant going to be sliding scale? How are they going to know who's a resident, and of where? Just Braddock? Braddock doesn't exist in a vacuum. Is this thing truly radical or patronizing?
Tis the season, support our local communities which will not only feed, educate and employ our neighbors but can further show the country how it takes a village...bring humanity back..
