Porter attacks bouncer and Cops. Wacko people attack cop for arresting Porter. Sums up this article. Video evidence is kind of hard to change.
I saw it personally when a police officer outright lied to a judge about some facts, and when I said that I could prove the lie with VISUAL EVIDENCE, the judge in question denied me the chance to prove the officer's lie. In summary: THEY'RE ALL IN CAHOOTS.
Porter displayed to the world his character in the playoff game against Cincinnati last year. And the Steelers showed all of their class when they gave him a game ball for his dirty actions. Not an ounce of class in this town.
Going back nearly ten years in an officers past is thankfully not relevant to Joey Porters defense. The evidence is. I hope Porter is innocent but attacking the arresting officers credibility shouldn't be relevant just because Joeys a Steeler.
As per Police Officer Abel's , prior incident, most of us were not there, when it happened, I vaguely recall the incident.
There is a very old police technique, called Buffaloing, it was used in the old days , by men such as Wyatt Eyrup they would pull the revolver from their holster, and have control of the grip, they use the bottom of the grip and swipe it, from about the ear forward, so as to subdue a violent and or out of control person, instead of shooting them!
I'am guessing here the officer was most likely carrying a Department Authorized Glock Pistol, Most likely when this off duty officer performed the Buffalo Technique, with his Glock, he generated enough energy and force, to accidently discharge his sidearm.
This past year, I observed a you-tube video made by a Firearms engineer , he had a live round in the chamber of a Glock Pistol, the Video, I believe was filmed either in Austria or Germany, he Took the Glock Model Pistol in hand, his finger was no where near the trigger and he proceeded too shake the Glock Pistol, The Pistol discharged.........
These Modern plastic Handguns are not the all Steels revolver's or Semi-Auto Handguns and are not intended to Buffalo nor Pistol whip some with.
In a Pistol whipping mode The Officer would have grabded the Glock by the front end of the slide between the muzzle and Trigger are using the butt as a hammer, when the Glock discharged he would have injured himself in that 2008 incident!
Great article. That officer should not be on the force. He's a disgrace to humanity. Should be in prison. I wish more reporters had your insight. Having said all this I'm positive the officer will continue being a scum and retire with a pension that you and I pay for.
From my understanding of the Joey Porter case, is this in a prior incident at this club, Mr. Porter was asked to leave and not come back!
Mr. Porter should not have gone back.
Mr. Porter is a gown man, he made an unwise decision with a lack of common sense, in this decision.
From my understanding te same Security person that escorted him out the last time was working, he stated from my understanding that M. Porter was not welcome back.
From my understanding the security officer stated that on the prior occasion Mr. Porter had made a specific threat directed at this Security Officer, I was told.
The Police were summoned The Officer's prior incident has nothing to do with this incident, unlike Mr. Porters incident's.
You can not touch a Police Officer, period...... That is aggravated Assault....... In 99% of cases the officer ends up dropping the charge or the District Attorney's office or some higher authority does.......
At least, as far as the Lincoln statue is concerned the students did raise SOME monies for a figure that may have not have been as public as it was almost 100 years ago! Also, a former dead president didn't have to visit a town in order for a memorial to be erected, think of Mt. Rushmore! Give them some credit instead of sounding so disparaging. Remember, most kids don't even remember a Lincoln statue at that corner, it was in the borough bldg. a long time!
