Re: “At 78 and with myriad health issues, surf-rock legend Dick Dale plays through the pain

This story has been sited on Wickipedia, I came across it while looking up Dick, who I a going to see next week (July 23, 2016) I didn't know Dick was having so many medical problems. This will be my first time seeing him.
Hope he has been able to get the help he needs without having to tour to do it. But I will gladly pay the price of admission to help and see this legend live.

Re: “As guitarist of the Mavericks, Eddie Perez lives out his rock-god dreams in an unlikely forum

Fabulous group...PROBLEM was the speakers were way too strong for the venue and the sound bounced off the balcony ceiling making it sound harsh and impossible to stay in the audience to listen.. I had to leave mid way through..

Re: “Pittsburgh’s The Gotobeds come out swinging on their Sub Pop debut

Good band, all their records are good. They seem to not understand how dumb the "wild as fuck" live show is and would be much better received if they focused on playing their songs well. Everybody who is friends with these guys knows how normal, responsible, and nice they are and there is nothing reckless about them at all. Standing on a chair with a guitar is not a good look bro

Re: “As guitarist of the Mavericks, Eddie Perez lives out his rock-god dreams in an unlikely forum

Nice article on my cuzn’ Eddie Perez, the lead guitarist & back up vocalist for the Multi-Grammy Award winning band “The Mavericks”. I remember when Eddie first picked up the guitar; he couldn’t have been more than 9 or 10 yrs. old. I’m about 8 yrs. older than him and one summer (about 1979) I was playing the drums and learning how to play the guitar myself. We both loved The Beatles so I gave him a The Complete Beatles song book. I was amazed when by the following summer Eddie had learned every song in that book. I knew then that this kid was something special! We used to entertain our family at back yard BBQ’s, Jamming’ and singing, mostly Beatles songs of course! By the time Eddie was a teenager, he was forming his own bands, I mean really good bands and he was performing all over the place. I have to add Eddie’s dad, my uncle Eddie Perez Sr. was a very good guitarist himself and I’m sure he was a big influence. Eddie’s mom, Tassie had a great voice and his brother Steve was a pretty good drummer in his own right. So Eddie had a musically inclined family. As a matter of fact, there were many musicians in our family, our grandfather, my dad and other family members & family friends. We always had some sort of live music at our family gatherings when we were growing up. It was great! We’re all so Proud of what Eddie has accomplished! Truly Blessed!

Re: “After a long hiatus, and high-profile coming-out, Christian-music veteran Jennifer Knapp moves forward

Her music speaks volumes, both of her journey and mine. That is what makes her such a tremendous talent, her raw and haunting lyrics sink into our souls and if just by chance, help us grow, heal and see ourselves clearer. Jennifer Knapp is a talent unlike any other and I hope she never tires of making music.

Re: “After a long hiatus, and high-profile coming-out, Christian-music veteran Jennifer Knapp moves forward

As long as Knapp continues to make great music her personal life is irrelevant. GOD will be our final judge and HE will decide if Jennifer Knapp was a true follower NOT ME!

Re: “On its new record, Baltimore's Noisem tackles some weighty issues

Oscar Wilde's "The Ballad Of Reading Gaoul": "I only love what I cannot have/ I only kill the ones I love."

So filled with hate that he cannot tell the difference between hatred and honesty.

hahahahahahaha

Re: “Norway’s Kvelertak filters black metal through a classic-rock lens

MEIR was definitely not their debut. It literally translates to "more" because it was more songs to add to their actual debut, 2010's self-titled release.

Re: “Pittsburgh hip-hop duo Grand Buffet makes a rare appearance at Spirit’s one-year anniversary party

Yoooooooooooooo that was a sweet article but I think B. Rich from Shark Tank is the one with the gold record in Canada. Height should be gold in Canada too, because he is that dank, but sadly he isn't yet.
