Re: “Spice Island Tea House

I love this place. There is no wine or beer but you can bring your own. The portions are enormous so you will be taking food home. Everything I have ever had here was wonderful. The staff are also great. The only problem is finding parking. But there is a small lot behind the restaurant. Bon appetit.

Re: “Bill Buda's

Terrible place. Smokey, rude people, food made me sick and the bar manager had no clue what he was doing.

Re: “Soho

I've not eaten at this restaurant for some time, but WOW!!! was the food fantastic when I did! Great Risotto, fantastic steak, service was wonderful and the portions were great too. I recall it being a bit pricier than $11-$19/plate, but honestly...it was well worth it.

Re: “Papaya

What a nice place to eat. Great customer service and friendly staff. The food was and is, always fresh and distinctly different. Try the soups, the Tom Kha is special..

Re: “The Original Pancake House

Good food, very bad service. I move from one table to another because of a very busy place and I was ignored the whole meal. Could not get ketchup or sugar free syrup. But they did bring my check. No second cup of coffee. I complained and got 20 per cent off not worth it.

Re: “Rocky's Route 8

I will never visit this place again, bad food. Only one waitress in the whole place equaled long waits. Ordered Chicken Marsala but what I got was minced up chicken, runny sauce with a few mushrooms, hard microwaved potato and canned green beans. All I can say is beware!

Re: “The Elbow Room

Please update the address. They moved from Ellsworth to Walnut ages ago. Their old address is now the home of 1947 Tavern.

Re: “Off the Wall Theater

Love this theater. It's comfortable, well-designed, and it seats a respectable size crowd in an intimate setting. Oh - and kudos to whoever keeps the bathrooms so clean.

Re: “Eat 'n Park

whoa.. Eat and Park is a faux restaurant that probably has little fresh food, other than fruit and salad and even that is questionable... Maybe the bread was never frozen;yet I believe most things served were.. Ok so the eggs weren't.. Let's not quibble over drivel; rather accept that this restaurant's food is sub standard and at times scary.

Re: “Swisshelm Park Community Center

Great place! They have regular dances there and there's a very nice wooden floor and stage. I really like dancing there!

As one of the oldest standing original resturaunts left in Bloomfield, Dels delivers the quality families expect, at a price they don't dread! As for Red Lion Reggae Band, WE WANT MORE! WHERE ARE THEY PLAYING NEXT?

Re: “Galleria 6

Walked into theatre with a large tea just purchased from Starbucks, and they would not allow me to take in, presumably so that they could sell more junk food. The galleria 6 does not sell tea or coffee. A more seasoned, customer service-oriented manager would have realized that mature patrons would not dispose of the tea and turn around and buy kiddie treats - gummy bears and coke. All this unthinking manager and his staff did was irritate a customer who paid $10+ to see a movie. Don't think I'll be coming back.
