This church has a ROCKIN' young band, great sound, cool theatrical lighting, and a totally different attitude about worship than I'm used to seeing in this old town. Not the typical church crowd, to be sure!
Love this place. Its awesome and has great atmosphere. Perfect for college kids like mself.
The Center of Harmony is a renovated Opry house:
It is the perfect venue for true music lovers!
No big Screens playing the game! No Darts! No Pool! No Drunks! No Distractions!
Just you enjoying incredible music with like-minded music lovers!
I’m going to see Charlie and the Foxtrots.
An amazing young vocal talent with a tight band!
Energetic and riveting! Charlie and the foxtrots will take you on a musical journey that you will never want to end!
Awesome place! Great food, great atmosphere and very reasonable prices. Stopped in with a large group after a trip to the PGH Glass Center. Good people!
went there for the first time last night...I've been so unhappy with my haircut for over a year now and I saw him on the Pittsburgh Today show, so I decided to try him. I felt very comfortable in the salon...he and his employees are very friendly and welcoming. He did a fabulous job on my hair!!!! I am finally happy again with the cut...I couldn't be happier. I will definitely be going back...I can't say enough good things about that salon!!! :)
My fiance and I have driven by El Campesino restaurant in Robinson Town Center a handful of times on our countless shopping trips and had always wanted to visit there. All of our friends had gone there many times and kept bragging about how good the restaurant was. So we finally decided to give it a try..
Amazing Thai food with good lunch prices. My favorite place to eat downtown.
A great space that does way more than tattoos. Awesome art galleries and shows!
Check out their new food & cocktail menu!
Barley and Hops filled a ciritical need in the South Hills Suburbs - an area that is otherwise a craft-beer desert, in such stark contrast to the city.
But all good things must come to an end. Fiday, August 16, 2013 was they last day in business. Bye-Bye
This is a great neighborhood bar. The food is great. The drinks are cheap. It has big flat screen TV's everywhere. This is the best place to watch all Pittsburgh sports teams. They also give away an authentic Steelers jersey after every regular season and playoff game. As long as you are there by the end of the first quarter, you will have a chance to win. Now that's awesome!

Went to Matteo's with my husband to try something new...Wow,
wonderful food. The lamb ragu is to die for and I'm not a big lamb fan.
Atmosphere is great, staff very nice and accommodating. Liked it so
much, we took a group of our friends there a week later! Definitely
worth the drive from Sewickley
Alright... here's the deal. This school fucking rocks!!! There's so much you can learn here that you can't learn anywhere else. Yes... you can order stuff online and teach yourself, but there is nothing like learning from industry professionals like Jerry Gergely. Jerry's the BEST! You can ask him any questions you want and he'll give you the straight up answer. Don't take my word for it though. do your RESEARCH! It's a big decision to get into special makeup effects. Since i came to DEC my life has changed. I'm not the same person I was a few months ago. I have my teacher's and friends and the work that I'm doing to thank for that. I was just a kid going no where and now I'm doing fx for KNB (huge shop in hollywood, kids). I work hard though. And you'll have to too. This will be the best time in your life!
Holy shit! I found the school of my dreams! Started in summer... blown away... Teacher's are amazing! Talked with lots of people before i came. The haters are the drop out wannabes who can't hack it in this business. Those who have the desire to learn from great teachers and ASK QUESTIONS are the ones who are going to make it. All this other stuff is just lies... and if it's not lies who gives a damn? I'm here for my future, for my kid, and this was the best decision i have made!!!
We have eaten dinner here several times--always sitting at the bar. The food is wonderful and excellently prepared. The risotto is always top shelf. The bartender is the best and the staff is friendly and attentive. You are missing out if you don't give it a try.
Great value and taste!! Four happy diners that danced all night to the Groove Doctors last Saturday.
DEC is the best! The stuff I've done since I've been here has been...
AMAZING... I can't say that enough. I'm in Tom Savini's Special Make-Up
Effects Program and I've done everything from eyes and teeth to
animatronics and fashion performance make-up. I've worked with my
friends in The Factory Digital Filmmaking Program on some of the biggest
and best Final Products in recent years!!! Seriously... Some KILLER SHIT...
I can't imagine going anywhere else and learning and much or having the experiences that I've had here... Anyone who runs their mouth and has negative stuff to say (guy/girl a
couple below) hasn't put the time in or discipline to really shut that shit down and
go for their dreams. Bunch of sick rumors from people who are jokes
been there 4 times and had a wonderful times with friends. the first time we tried an assortment of tapas and with each bit i wa like "oh my God" it was that good. the delicate fusuin of flafors were a treat indeed. I always let the handsome manager sugest a cocktail and i haven't been disappointed. An enjoyable relaxing 4 hours just breezes by. I tend to avoid crowds so i haven't gone on a weekend night when there's entertainment. I'll have to try that. when we went there was nice music in the background that wasn't so loud that you couldn't enjoy good conversation with your friends. the last time wejust met friends for a drink and the manager sugested Velozi's for dinner. He actually walked us over, procured us the best table for six and introduced us to the owner. what an evening of great company great coctails and great food.
