Checked out IVP Bar & Pizza last night. They opened in the old 'Coogans Bar' spot on Carson. While not too havvy that they didn't have any light beers on tap besides Bud Lite, I was very happy with their $.35 wings. I ordered 6 in 'Honey BBQ' and 6 in 'Fiery Hot'. The fiery hot is a combination of Franks red hot and red pepper that had a great kick but didn't gag me when eating. The honey bbq was delicious. It was thick & rich, clung to the wing when I picked it up- aside from the one drop that landed on my pants. :)
We found them on BarSmart while driving down Carson and decided to stop in... We're glad we did...
Go ahead, Give IVP a try...!
Hospitality, value, and variety alone would make Istanbul worthwhile. From a wide range of mezes to tease the tongue, to ample entrees of Oriental delights, each presentation and welcome is both glorious and sublime.
Decorated with the subtle splendor of an intimate Levantine cafe, there is seating for large families as well as intimate nooks to take your tea. Occasional performances by ethnic bands and dancers may be seen. The large room in the rear is likewise decorated with a Moorish theme, right down to the wall seating. Several of my friends have had their wedding receptions there, as well as other themed events.
Great authentic Mexican cuisine.
this place is perfect for a quick bite to eat and a few good brews to wash it down with
Great food, atmosphere and prices. Staff is great as well!
Good portion of food. Very tasty.
Dive bar with some good local vibes. For young and old alike. Small, smokey, and poorly lit. No drama, just good times with good people.
Ah, now THAT sounds like the Chief's I knew and loved/hated back in the day. On another review site, Chief's is listed as a coffee & tea cafe where hospital staff hang out...I almost cried!
I didn't go to Chief's for the drinks or decor (nor to sample from the ever-present jar of pickled, hard-boiled eggs). I went to sample the people! The most eclectic group of strong personalities I've ever known to be in one room could be found stuffed in and around the booths at Chief's. No matter what it was a person was in to, be it business or art, if they were hanging out at Chief's, you can bet your bippy they were considered "fringe" in at least one aspect of their life.
I loved it, I feared it, and I'm d*mn glad I experienced it.
nice people nice place bikers always welcome pool tables darts and bowler as well as video games 10 hd tv's for your viewing pleasure come see
I was turned onto this place by my Son. He and some college buddies discovered it soon after it opened. I was skeptical at first as it is located in a Robinson strip mall. I soon got over that after seeing the menu and tasting the food.
I had the Bibimbap and some real soju, a Korean distilled spirit which is hard to find around here. The starter dishes were delicious with the best Kimchi I've had in a long time. I highly recommend.
The Scissormen really rocked this "Jook Joint" Fri night.
Good ol "Deep Blues" with sometimes psycadelic riffs by lead guitarist, song writer and blues purist Ted Drozdowski with Drummer Matt Snow. NO COVER CHARGE and relaxed atmosphere made the eve at "B. C's" enjoyable. Kenley's often showcase some some of the best local and touring acts.
Last Nov Gary Prisby, BSWPA winner "Best Acoustic Solo Performer" played to a very appreciative crowd. Owner "BILL KENLY" tries to keep it real at "His Joint". This review courtesy of GREENSBURG BUZZ @greensburgbuzz.com
Thoroughy enjoyed an evening at Joey's the Edge in Export.
Good crowd of all ages and GREAT live band featuring Pgh's
own "Jazz Great" Kenny Blake. Tue. night "jam session" features Kenny and a various group of other musicians from around the area. They will BLOW YOU AWAY !!! Great spot with ample parking and clean restrooms. The only negative I could add is I wish the place was larger. Well worth the trip.

Great place for happy hour if you smoke. Good deals
and nice help. They also have decent food and upstairs
is non smoking.
Friendly atmosphere. Great family dining and the food is really, really good. It's been there for a long time, which means to me that it's a well-established restaurant. I'm definitely going back again.
