ARE YOU SERIOUS RIGHT NOW!?! The 90's were all about paying $20 for 2 good songs. (3 if you like weezer) Why are you listening to non-singles off that album? Did your skip button break on your sony discman? Plus that video for singing in my sleep might as well have come out today... the way he reaches over a pile of CD's to dig out a cassette mix tape... it's like a hipster manifesto in a 4:25 video. Yeahhhhh, that song's OK. That "Secret Smile" song straight-up sucks, though, and I think it was the second single from the album, wasn't it? NOT FEELIN' IT, PETE.

I live in Hesperia California and was told that only Joshua trees grow around here and Israel. Also recently someone also told me that "like the Nile" We too as in our city is so amazing because there are only two North flowing rivers in the entire world and universe and galaxy. That's because the FOP prefers to go into the political arena as kings. But that shouldn't be what Pittsburgh's about.
I don't know if there is a more disgraced institution in the Pittsburgh area than the Pittsburgh police. Their endorsement should be poison to anyone who encounters it. Imagine if the Turnpike Commission endorsed someone.

Wheatley is polling at 8% and is partially (somewhat significantly) bankrolled by Chairman Ravenstahl, who is also running the campaign's most desperate and silly attack ads against Peduto. And he's part of Ravenstahl's Stadium Authority, and has toed the line on its exclusionary development practices. So you figure it out. Peduto actually has put forward more concrete proposals for addressing segregated opportunity in Pittsburgh than has Wheatley. That's one real reason Ravenstahl hates Peduto so much, that and the corruption allegations Wheatley has never bothered to make about this administration, scandal-plagued and stained though it has been.
I believe Pittsburgh is going to see a black Mayor in my lifetime, maybe soon, but in my opinion State Rep. Jake Wheatley does not remotely have the stuff.

I don't live/work near the Strip, but I have definitely seen her there on the weekdays I've had meetings in the area, and Saturdays/Sundays seem to be a staple. I think the sandwiches are $6 (cash only) and the tofu ones are just as good as the grilled meat ones. <3 If you want updates, follow Bar Marco on Facebook, as they often tell you when she's around since she's set up right outside.

As you mostly acknowledge, there are a lot of shades between smurfishness and monstrousness, and it's probably not even a one-dimensional spectrum. Traditional machine politicos love nothing more than to insist that in order to be consistent, progressives must forever be lying down, rolling over and exposing their abdomens. They usually complain about it with half a smile and a twinkle in their eye, as though they remember fondly what progressive entrails taste like.
Look to Shrek. Some monsters are loving and noble.
