Re: “The R Bar

Soul Village has graced the R Bar with their talent. Sugar Ray and his excelent musicians were fantastic along with resident artist sitting in. As usual the staff and owners make everyone more than welcome

Re: “El Campesino

Food is ok, service is very slow & wait staff not attentive. Had to sit for 20 minutes waiting for a drink while the server ate his dinner. No wonder the place was a ghost town during the "dinner rush." Will not go back.

Re: “Linden Grove

The Linden Grove is a great nightclub!! There is always great music for dancing. On Thursday nights, it is oldies night with DJ Bugger which is great for the older folks to come out and dance. Friday nights they always have really great live bands. The bands are lots of fun and very entertaining, well worth the price of admission!! Saturday nights they have a great DJ who plays 80s, 90s and current day dance music. There's a great mix of people and it's a fun atmosphere. I love this place!!

Re: “ModernFormations Gallery

My name is Richard Claraval. I just finished an exhibition at Modernformations Gallery. The experience was fine, and Jennifer Quinio quite stimulating to work with. I feel quite inspired for my next show, wherever it may be. All of the previous comments about the space are meaningless for the simple reason that they are anonymous. ALL anonymous posts on the internet are nothing save intellectual masturbation.

Re: “Corner Cafe

Went to the show for the first time last night. Best open mic comedy I have seen in Pittsburgh in 11 years. The sound was really good too.
Definitely a dive bar - not what I expected - but the beer was cheap.

Re: “Istanbul

Hospitality, value, and variety alone would make Istanbul worthwhile. From a wide range of mezes to tease the tongue, to ample entrees of Oriental delights, each presentation and welcome is both glorious and sublime.

Decorated with the subtle splendor of an intimate Levantine cafe, there is seating for large families as well as intimate nooks to take your tea. Occasional performances by ethnic bands and dancers may be seen. The large room in the rear is likewise decorated with a Moorish theme, right down to the wall seating. Several of my friends have had their wedding receptions there, as well as other themed events.

Re: “El Campesino

My friend and I were looking for some Mexican on a Friday Nite. So we decided to go here and see how the food was...
The decor was dingy, it looked like it needs a good hosing... I didnt want to stay but my buddy wanted to try it out.
The menu was inaccurate and some of their food adaptation wasnt made to look appetizing in my opinion... We had simple demands, No refried beans, My buddy's burrito came loaded with them(Waitress and menu says they are not in the burrito). When food came and my buddy took a bite of his food, he stomach turned... The manager offered to make it for him properly and could not understand why he lost his appetite. As for my food, I got nachos and a quesadilla(simple enough right, big mistake). They cover all of their food with this white cheese sauce, its very bland and messy(consistency more like soup). I honestly feel My quesadilla lookes like a taco loaded with this nasty cheese also, very bland.
I CAN HONESTLY SAY that I would much rather go to a sheetz gas station and acquire the same meal choices. Their nachos have real NACHO cheese and their quesadillas have more flavor and sit much better in ur stomach, not to mention the price...
I DO NOT recommend eatig here at all, save your money and your colon
