Re: “Skinny Pete's Kitchen

Gourmet in Avalon! Service is fast and friendly. Goat cheese, sweet pepper,
Olive tapenade flat bread was AMAZING! Real sausage gravy. Bananas foster
French toast. Some gluten free items. Tons of vegetarian items.
As well as meaty treats like muffuletta, pulled pork.

Re: “Eggs-R-Us

Eggs-R-Us is tops in the West End for a great breakfast. Their pancakes are delicious, probably competing with the Dor-Stop for the title of best pancakes in Pittsburgh. The pancakes are so good that they are all I've ever had there, save for a side of some delicious grits. Can't beat the prices, either. We love Eggs-R-Us!

Re: “Eggs-R-Us

i was at eggs -r-us with my parents the other day and we ordered the big breakfast. the eggs and meat were good but the potatoes "YUK" they were half cooked, slimmy and cold.most of the other customers were throwing their home fries away, i refused to pay for ours. good home fries are either boiled to make them tender then sliced or diced, or sliced and diced raw then cooked on the grill. congratulations you screwed up the perfect potato

Re: “Eggs-R-Us

The breakfast was ok. The home fries are suppose to be made on the grill, not boiled, or what ever they do to them. I ate the worst fish sandwich of my life, at eggs are us. The fish tasted like it was fried in old oil. The fish was hard as a rock and had an after taste, and the bun they put in on was an over sized hot dog bun. The fish was so greasy, the bun was wet with it. Never eat there again.

Re: “Eggs-R-Us

I love this place. I started going there two months ago and try to get there 2-3 times a week. The food is great. Sometimes the waitresses are moody but overall the place rules.I love their home fries contrary to what the last guy wrote. I watch them make them and they ar not steamad or bolied. The guy lied. They are deep fried and then put on the grill.

Re: “Eggs-R-Us

Hi VERY over rated...HOMEFRIES are to be cooked/fried on the grill...not steamed or boiled using paprika & seasoning salt for color!!!

Absolutely delicious! Great food, great price, great people! I wish I could start everyday with Eggs-R-Us. Everthing from biscuits with sausage gravy to breakfast sandwiches, and the best coffee in town.
